In hospital...

I just thought I would let you all know I'm out of commission for awhile. There are things going on that I don't want to talk about *weird, I know*, so I am taking a hiatus, which is likely to last another week or two. When I come back, there will be much to discuss, I am sure.

Love to you all, my dear friends.

Marie

I'm thinking of you and especially Melissa and her family. You're all in my prayers.

Wow, sorry to hear that news. I'll be waiting to hear what's going on with you. In the meantime I pray for peace in your heart and for your family as you are away from them.

get a life and spend some time with your own kids so that they will realize that they have a mom that loves them and not have to go to counseling to figure out that their mom loves the friends more than the kids.

Marie, you DO have a life. I am shocked that someone would have the gall to say something like this anonymously. It would be nice if they showed their name. I have heard nothing but the blessings your family have reaped by blessing the life of another. When you are in the service of your fellow brothers and sisters, you are only in the service of your God. Getting lost in service doesn't always means neglecting your family. From what I have seen, your family has been involved right there with you. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't your absence part of the sacrifice? Isn't this sacrifice on the part of your family and children part of serving others? If they can't directly be there serving the Hurleys, can't this be how they serve? Can't this be character building instead of a detriment to their self-esteem and identity? You have said, "Mourn with those who mourn." Bless you, Marie, for mourning with the Hurleys. It is a burden only you know and others like you know about. Bless your children and family. I can tell your kids know they're loved.
